Blog 5

One of the ideas that I have been thinking of using for my research topic is a study on how people respond to conversations about religion. I am curious what aspects of the conversation make it awkward, and how that awkwardness prevents people from discussing that topic again.
In my introduction, I would need to review any research that has been done on that topic. I am not sure that any has been, but I will need to find it and review it first to get an idea of what the "official" consensus is on that topic. I have a feeling that if there is an official theory on this topic, that my research will turn up rather different results on it.
Another thing I may need to go over is to give a quick review about some of the Conversations there are about religion, especially Conversation about a conversation about religion. I think there are typical socially accepted ways for talking about dicey topics like that, so I would want to review what are those social standards or cultural norms which guide such conversations.
